When we were swimming on holiday last year at Watergate Bay, Alfie decided he would like to do a sponsored swim to raise money for the ambulance team who looked after him when he was a born 11 weeks early. They transferred him to Bolton hospital when he was a few hours old and then back to Tameside when he was no longer critically unwell. The care they give is second to none and it is definitely a well deserved cause. Tomorrow, Alfie and a team friends are swimming 10K to raise money for them.
