I decided to embark on this journey and run Dragon's Back Race for myself and the animals. This is a brutal 380 km race done in six days in Wales with an astonishing 16,400 meters of elevation. I've never done anything like this before, so this will be the first time I'm doing such a crazy challenge.

I choose to fundraise for Dog's Trust Charity and Surge Activism. Surge is a creative non-profit striving to create a world where compassion towards all non-human animals is the norm.

We have around 48,000 abandoned dogs in the UK, which is such a shame as I believe every dog deserves a home.

The reason I choose Dogs Trust is because they take good care of all the doggies in need and they make a huge effort to find the right home for every dog. I've fundraised twice for them before and I like how transparent they are.

The reason I choose Surge is because I believe Ed Winters and his team is doing such an amazing job educating people by sharing stories of every single animal and showing the corruption behind the industries that exploit all animals, not just dogs.

We have many issues in this world, my passion is trail running and pushing my boundaries and with this challenge this gives me an opportunity to fundraise and hopefully make a small impact.

With your help, together we can make a positive impact by helping one animal at the time, because animals are just like us, they have a soul, they have a heart and they have their own families.

I will do my part as this race requires a lot of training and focus. I will be training with my running coach Dave Bone from Camino Ultra and Alex Alvarez on my strength training and nutrition.

The race itself is as they call it, is "the toughest mountain race in the world" due to its elevation and very hard terrain.

Change starts with us, one person at a time. The world won't change if we don't change.
