Myself and my partner are getting married in September 2021. We have just found out that my mother has got advanced progressive cancer in oesophagus and lung so unfortunately has only been given 3/6 months left to live.

The aim for raising the money would be so we are able to make one last special day for my mother before she passes.

The funds would be used to help my brother and his family with flight costs to come over from Australia so that they can spend time together. I am trying to make her remaining time as memorable as possible for her and our entire family.

If you have ever met my mum or she has helped you in anyway please can you help me make her last few months memorable for her and for me, my future wife and her grandchildren.

She has had a degenerative illness called Muscular dystrophy since her twenties.

She has had cancer twice and beat it both times pre Covid-19 . Over the years her disability has got worse but she has always done what she can do to help me and my family and anyone else that she could.

When Covid-19 hit the UK like most people who are classed as vulnerable she had had to isolate and missed a lot of time not seeing her grand children grow up . During lockdown she also suffered from 1 heart attack, 2 strokes and also COVID19 virus.. She has kept fighting and has been going thru rehab to get fit to be able to go home. However the news about the diagnosis of advanced progressive cancer in oesophagus and lung has come as a shock to us all.

The fund raising is to make what time my mum has left as special as possible so my daughters, her grandchildren will always remember their Granny and that we can have one more magical day together.
