Alderholt Sports & Social Club is a local community private members club supported by Alderholt Football Club, our various mens and ladies darts teams, our pool teams, Alderholt Cricket Club and Alderholt Tennis Club.

The club is run by solely by volunteers and we are a 'not-for-profit' establishment relying heavily on the support provided by our members. Our current premises consists of a prefabricated building which was installed by local members of the community over 30 years ago, hence is now in need of repair and refurbishment both inside and out.

We are fortunate enough to have many skilled trades people as members who are willing to support this project in terms of providing their labour either free or at considerably reduced rates. We also have excellent relationships with our suppliers, particularly Ringwood Brewery who continue to support both the club and Alderholt FC in terms of sponsorship. Therefore the sum we are trying to raise is substantially less than would be needed to bring in outside contractors to do the work.

The volunteers and club members are passionate about keeping our club alive. What we lack in fixtures and fittings is more than made up by the warm welcome assured to all members of the community. However we are well aware that the building's appearance and facilities are holding the club back and limiting our plans to appeal to the wider community by increasing our memberships.

Therefore we are looking to raise £5000 in order to make the building more aesthetically pleasing, repair the leaking flat roof and refurbish the interior along with the toilet facilities.
