Asaalamu alaikum

With your continued support we are raising funds again this year for a new Mosque called Al-Madina Jamme Masjid which is currently being constructed in Islampur, which was formally Bade khujgipur, near Umorpur, Osmani Nagor Bangladesh. This remote, isolated, and impoverished community does not have access to their own Mosque, in fact there is no Mosque within 1km of this area.

Moreover currently there are no prayer facilities for women anywhere near this area, therefore this is an essential requirement and consideration for the development, such that women are provided a dedicated place of worship.

The Mosque will provide space for up to 600 worshippers with approximately 400 local worshippers who will benefit from praying their daily prayers in the Mosque. The Mosque is being built adjacent to an existing Madrasa - Jamea Islamia Modinatul Uloom (Islamic school) where orphans and poor children (boys & girls) receive a free islamic education, including help memorising the Quran and learning Hadith. The Madrasa is currently operated solely on donations and has so since its foundations were laid, providing meals, clothing and educational material for the students at the Madrasa. The students of the madrasa will also greatly benefit from having a dedicated prayer are as the Madrasa cannot accommodate space for prayers.

The foundations of the Mosque were laid in 2021 and the structure is near completion. Plumbing and wiring is currently underway, however we need your support to progress this. To date we have spent over 60k of your donations and we have another 20k in commitments from our generous benefactors. Donations have been received both online and in person and without your help and duas this would not have been possible. However we are still in need of more funding to complete. Please provide a donation for the construction of Al-Madina Jamme Masjid and let’s work together for this community.
