Story
Hello! I am Aileen, a young percussionist from Taiwan and I am 18 years old. My dream is to be a Professional Percussionist. Honourably, I have been offered places in both Juilliard Percussion Summer Seminar directed by The Juilliard School in New York and Curtis Summerfest directed by the Curtis Institution in Philadelphia. These two places have an outstanding reputation and I strongly believe that these opportunities will develop my musical skills and prepare me for my higher education auditions this September. I desperately want to go, however the cost of tuition fees and flight tickets to the states is my main concern. I hope you can help me just by giving a few pounds to support me! I would really appreciate it and promise to work really hard for it!! Thank you very much!

7 years agoMoreover! The Just Giving page will charge a 5% of service charge. The fee per transaction for donations made in GBP via debit or credit card is 1.25%. The fee for donations made via PayPal is 1.45%. (According to the terms and conditions from this page) . Therefore, I would have to rise up the targets in order to get the actual amount of support I need. Hope you understand! Thank you all again for your kindly support.

7 years agoDear ALL! Thank you for all your support! I want to make all of the money details clear! The Juilliard Tuition fees will be $2160, which is about £1556. The Flight ticket from London to New York will roughly about £660. According to Google, In July. IN TOTAL I will need £2216. Initially, I didn't want to spend my parents' money. However, My parents had kindly donated through this page £1000. Therefore, In total, I will need £1206 from YOUR(Crowds) help! Thank you!
