For all information and to find your nearest drop off point.

We need your help and physical donations, not your money. But if you can't help, I will make sure that any donations made, go to directly towards providing immediate and urgent aid for the Ukranian people.

We have all watched in horror as the people of Ukraine fight to save their country and protect the vulnerable. These are completely innocent men women and children just like us, who up until a few weeks ago enjoyed sitting in cafés, bars, and restaurants, but now find themselves in a War zone, homeless, broken, and displaced.

I cannot watch and do nothing, when I know that I have the capability and resources to help.

I will be driving a shipment humanitarian aid myself direct to Ukraine, leaving on or about the 29th of April and returning roughly 5 days later.

All costs will be covered by me through my business, which means 100% of the donations will go to provide immediate aid to the Ukrainian people.

As both the lead driver and the project manager, I personally guarantee to make sure that the aid we deliver goes directly to help those who need it most, and your donations will be at the polish Ukraine border within 3 days of us leaving the UK!

I do need a bit of help to fill the Van with relevant items, and I would be grateful if you could please share this with as many likeminded people as possible, and let me know if you have any items I can deliver on your behalf.

Ways you can help or get involved: --

    1. Send new or nearly new items listed below.

    2. Buy items listed and them to us to deliver free of charge.

    3. Donate to this page and we will buy and ship items for free.

    4. Send a message of support to the Ukrainian people in an envelope.

    5. Help us to sort and pack items for the journey, and wave us on our way. (looking like 29th April at the moment(

Your money and goods will be in safe hands, and every penny will be accounted for and displayed on our web page after the trip: -

    What to send!

The need in Poland is very different to the need in Ukraine, and needs are changing weekly. I am advised that there is quite a lot of stuff sitting in warehouses not being used. So, it is vitally important to only send relevant items. Please do not send adult clothes!.

Non-perishable foods, such as tinned food, pasta, rice, packet food, baby foods, sugar, tea, coffee, cereal, sweets, cans of drink, crisps, nuts, popcorn, chocolate, water, orange and lemon squash, biscuits etc.

Underwear, is in high demand, such as socks, pants, nickers, bra's, vests, shoes, boots, hats, scarves, gloves, disposable slippers,

Please pre-sort into male, female, adult, child, as this saves time for the local volunteers.

Anything for children aged 0-10 is also in high demand. again, pants, vests, nappies, tee shirts. It may be nice to include a small back pack or bag with sweets or drawing stuff and small games, toys.

Items of personal hygiene are also in high demand, such as soap, hair products, shaving, combs, brushes, make up, washing powder, nail clippers, nail files, tweezers, Vaseline, lip balm, Canesten cream, Sudocrem, water purification tablets, wipes, moisturiser, toilet roll, cleaning products, cloths, towels, disinfectant, rubber gloves, bin liners, carrier bags, or any bags they can use.

Basic medical supplies, even if slightly out of date. Foot care, burn treatment, trauma related items, tourniquet, bandages, sterile dressings, pain relief, wheelchairs, crutches, thermometer, masks, surgical gloves, scrubs.

Battery chargers, flashlights, pens, sharpies, batteries, lighters , water bottles, flasks, sleeping bags, tools for building, tools for mechanics, fan heaters, old phones and phone chargers, walkie talkies, calculators, highlighters, paper, envelopes..

Please email aidukraine@urgentservices.uk for details of your nearest drop off point. If you have a large consignment, we may be able to arrange collection.

I think that pretty much covers it for now.

Thank you for you're kindness and generosity.

Hi Everyone, I will give you an update later today or on Monday with regards to the generators, I have managed to order 20, which is massive compared to where I thought we would be, and this is thanks to us. I was asked by a local organisation to write something about my trip. It's a bit long, but quite detailed and, I am sure, interesting in places. I am going to share this with you as it gives an understanding of what to was like in Ukraine. Many thanks!!!!!!! Derwent

My idea to buy the generators in Poland hit an issue as I couldn’t read Polish. But the husband of a hotel worker works for the equivalent of Selco and has helped me to source and buy the generators, and I am estimating delivery by this time next week. I delivered on my promise to make sure our physical donations reached those most in need, and next week, our generators will do the same. I will get photos. Well done everyone!!!!! We did this!
