Aidan McCann, former player and current member of Eglish Gaelic Football Club and founding member of Oona Wheelers was unfortunately diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma - a form of cancer in April 2024. Whilst he has received several rounds of chemotherapy, his treatment remains ongoing.

As Aidan faces this battle against cancer, to show our support the Oona Wheelers Cycling Club is organising a 24hour Relay Walkathon to raise funds to support him and his young family through this difficult journey.

Oona Wheelers invite you to participate in this walkathon and support Aidan. Come along to Pairc Chormaic and carry the baton for Aidan over part of the 24 hours. Or just turn up and join the walkers at a time that suits you and for as many laps as you like.
