Story

We have exceeded our first target , but please don’t stop there. Below is the memorial box Ellie and James received containing a book “Guess how much i love you”, matching teddies , certificate , a candle , card note paper , wild flower seeds and a touching note from the parents who paid for this to be gifted to others in the same position. Please keep donatating it doesn’t need to be much and each donation is gratefully received ❤️

The Gift nobody wants , but is so much appreciated if needed!

Times have been so hard and businesses have suffered with imposed closures, or been overwhelming for key workers. I want to pay personal tribute to two services in particular who provided a free service for my daughter and fiancé who’s son was sadly born sleeping at 15 weeks pregnancy this year. Although he didn’t have the chance to draw breath , the care and sensitivity of the funeral and crematorium service and staff were astonishing.

Sadly, a baby lost before 24 weeks pregnancy has no birth certificate, no official birthday and most companies bereavement policies do not cover this as it is classed as a miscarriage even though many mothers in the 2nd trimester have to go through labour and give birth, many parents have to return to work quickly as time off is at the discretion of the company and lis usually unpaid leave at this stage, however they have just lost their previous baby!

I would like to raise awareness that there are incredible service providers that at there expense support families of pre-term baby deaths with the sensitivity and respect these innocent little ones deserve at no cost ❤️. I have created this JustGiving page for anyone who would like to join me in making a donation and would appreciate if you could share this with your friends to raise monies to help support others in the future.

I will gift any monies raised to service providers who have an incredible positive impact on grieving parents lives these include , funeral directors , crematoriums (ours is hopefully creating a baby garden, so parents can come and sit and remember their loved ones), provider of memory boxes which are supplied to hospitals to gift to grieving parents, often donated by couples who have also lost a child and share a personal message and a certificate of babies birth, although not legally a birth certificate, it brings comfort and acknowledges a life lost.

This may be personal to my family today, but sadly it is something that many couples have and will continue to experience and I hope that money raised can give a little comfort to the parents and help those service providers continue their generous gifted services.
