Eric Natanael was born on the 27th of April 2017. We first noticed that he prefers to sleep on one side when he was one and a half months. We were advised by the physiotherapist and health visitor to try to reposition his head and to give him more tummy time to prevent it from getting any worse. He had made some progress, but unfortunately when he was assessed at a clinic on 24/10/17 Eric was diagnosed with severe brachycephaly and plagiocephaly, collectively known as Flat Head Syndrome. We have been advised to treat it with a cranial helmet with a view to reducing the overall problem, at the cost of £2085.

This condition although primarily cosmetic, research also suggests that there may be links to auditory, visual and developmental problems later in life. We need to take action now to give him the best start in life
