Story
Hello all!
I run my own mixed ability rugby team in which we have been successfull at fundraising for ourselves. What a better time to help other's, especially children at Christmas time? I wish to support a close friend in helping raise funds in order to buy disadvantaged children gifts for chritmas- part of Free Radio's 'Cash For Kids'.
Shockingly 1 in 4 children around here are still living in poverty. That's made even worse by knowing that many of these children will wake up on Christmas morning without ANY presents to open.
We all remember the excitement of running down the stairs to see what Santa had left under the tree, ripping open the wrapping paper & spending the rest of the day playing with our new toys. Knowing that this won’t be the case for so many local children is really upsetting and we want to do something. So, this year we’re giving Santa some help as we attempt to buy as many gifts as possible.
As some of you may know, I run my own business of buying and selling, so have built up many contacts in which I am able to use to obtain as many gifts as possible to help make Christmas an extra special one this year.
Please help and give as little or as much as you can and help make a child's Christmas.
Thank you
Adam Law
