Hi Everyone,

We are The ADAM Foundation which was set up in memory of Adam Ellison, who‘s life was sadly taken in Novemeber 2017. Ever since Adam‘s passing we continue to receive amazing support from the commuinity and we love being able to show our appreciation and give support back to many people, groups and organisations in our community.

Adam loved to help others, which is why his Foundation is a fitting trubute to him, which is why we would love to show our support and raise money for an amazing group called Breastmates.

Breastmates Cancer support group is based on Eccleston Street, Prescot. Breast Mates Cancer Support Group offers support, information and friendship to people diagnosed with breast cancer in Knowsley and the surrounding area.

Breast Mates is a non-medical self-help group run by local people. A breast cancer diagnosis can lead to people feeling very alone; meeting with others who are going through a similar experience and sharing information can really help. Breast Mates have a telephone helpline, social and group activities and exercise classes. They work in the local community raising awareness of breast cancer and breast screening.

we have decided to do a sponsored walk to help raise funds for this amazing group, the date of the walk will be Sunday 3rd April and will start at 10.30am. we will start walking from St.Helens Town Hall and the finish line will be at Breastmates Office based on Eccleston Street, Prescot.

we would love if everyone got involved and joined us in standing side by side in completing this walk together to show our support to this fantastic group, to raise funds to keep this much needed community group being able to provide the much needed support many others need during a diffucult time in their lives, who at times just need a listening ear or see a friendly face.
