Tennis is an individual sport with a rich history and one that is growing in popularity around the world. However, the take-up of tennis and number of people who follow the sport lags behind other sports such as football. We aim to introduce tennis to young children to encourage interest at an early age. The best way to do this is through engaging picture book stories.

We are creating a series of picture books that will introduce children to the sport and encourage them to start watching, and hopefully playing, tennis. There are two titles in the series so far, A True Champion and Sister Rivalry. We will be publishing a further two books over the next 12 months.

All the money raised from book sales and donations goes towards printing the books and posting them out to schools, libraries and tennis academies.
