In July 2018, Aylesbury Cheerleading Academy’s Junior Level 2 team competed at a national competition and won their division. As a result of their win, they were eligible to be considered for a bid to compete at the Summit, a prestigious competition held at ESPN Walt Disney World, Florida. There were 215 teams eligible to be considered for a bid and Aylesbury Cheerleading Academy Apollo were just 1 out of 10 teams that were awarded this fantastic opportunity. The team consists of 20 girls aged between 10 and 16 years old. They are a dedicated team who train at 8am every Sunday for 2 hours and every girl is also part of at least one other squad which trains twice a week. This is an amazing opportunity for the girls but, as you can imagine, does not come cheap. The entry fee for the competition alone is £230 per athlete. We are therefore hoping to raise funds to help the girls on their journey. We would be most gratfeul for any donations that you are able to spare to support these incredible, hard working girls on their journey and give them an experience of a life time.
