Asalamu Alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu

Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w.s.) as saying: “Charity does not in any way decrease the wealth and the servant who forgives, Allah adds to his respect; and the one who shows humility, Allah elevates him in the estimation (of the people).” (Muslim Vol. 4, Hadith 6264)

As you are aware, we are approaching the last few days of ramadan. During this time,our good deeds are multiplied at a larger scale and we are receiving endless blessings from Allah (SWT). This can be done in many different ways no matter how big or small.

We have kick-started the construction of a Mosque/Madrasa in Somalia. As you can see from the photo above we are still at the early stages, our aim is to provide a place of worship for those who live within the community and also help them improve their knowledge through Arabic teaching In’Sha’Allah.

Alhamdulilah, we have been privileged with access to multiple Masjids and Islamic centres around us which is why we would like to provide them with the same opportunity that we have been blessed with.

Sadaqah Jariyah is one of the best forms of charity granting ongoing benefits towards the giver, even after death. Any act of charity no matter how small or big can genuinely make a massive difference.
