I am a member of a group of Sedgefield Rangers I attended the North East World of Opportunities camping weekend and was selected along with 11 other girls to attend the Canadian provincial International Guide Camp in August 19. The camp will host approx. 2500 girls from across the world and will focus on discovering everything that we can be whilst undertaking incredible guiding activities, making memories and developing confidence and leadership skills to help us build towards own future. I will be given the chance to interaction with girls of different cultures in order to raise awareness of similarities, shared goals and our global interdependence.

In addition to the camp, we will spend several days on a homestay amongst Canadian Girlguiding communities whilst exploring major Canadian cities and experiencing the culture of the country.

This is amazing opportunity which I'm really excited to be able to be able to take part.
