My name is Nesrain , a Yemeni- British doctor living in UK .Most of my family are in Yemen. I know how the situation is really bad there .I would like to help and hope you could help me to make a difference.

In Yemen, conflict, poverty, drought and the collapsing state services have caused immense suffering for millions of people in the country. Now the country stands on the brink of famine.

UN says 3.1 millions Yemenis are internally displaced , while 14 millions are suffering from food insecurity and 370 , 000 children under the age of five are at risk of starving to death.

The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate with fuel shortages and severe lack of basic services making daily survival a painful struggle for millions.

A city like my home town, Hodiedah, temperature can reach 45°C , there has been no electricity for a year. Sadly like more others ,my grandma couldnt tolerate it , she died after 15 days of no electricity. Many died of shortage of Oxygen gas in hospital , one of them was my cousin .

Yemen was the poorest country in the Middle East and poverty & inequality was increasing when fighting escalated in March2015. Now half of the population - 14.4 million people - require help with food.
My mission is to deliver hopefully 1000 food baskets, each costs £50,for the poor and needy in Yemen ,each basket will feed a family for a month.

I have acess to people in different cities in Yemen who will be helping me to identify those on needs.
