Story
half-timbered Tudor house was the home of the Tatton family for almost 400 years. It was built in about 1540 by Robert Tatton of Chester. During the English Civil War, the hall was unsuccessfully defended by Robert Tatton against Cromwell's forces during the winter of 1643.[1] After the war the Wythenshawe estate expanded to about 2,500 acres
This heritage building that's steeped in history was in an horrific incident that saw the building set on fire and burn the upper floors .
If it is restore able the money raised with go towards the restoration costs of putting the hall back to its former glory.
Being pride of place in Wythenshawe park it's has always been admired by the locals for its beauty and prowess and it's something that I for one would like to do my dammedest to save.
Everybody in the local community has fond memories of this hall at some point in there life,
so PLEASE donate what ever you can it doesn't have to be loads, every Pennie counts!
Thankyou
