I've raised £1000 to help fund Women’s Open Talk groups and allow us to expand to a community near you!

Hello!!!
Womens Open Talk (WOT) started in a little town called Todmorden back in November 2023. It was the brain child of Andys Man Club facilitator, Dan Shackleton.
Dan teamed up with local ladies, Amy Thompson, Erica Graves and Selina Booth who all volunteered thier time to get it off the ground. Since November its become apparent how much the comunity needed this and as a result there is another group opening and others in the pipeline.
Women's Open Talk is a free, supportive community dedicated to providing a safe space for women & non binary members of the community to share their stories, experiences, and emotions. Our talking therapy support group offers a nurturing and no—judgemental environment where we can come together to discuss various challenges, seek guidance, and foster connections with one another.
Our Mission
At Women's Open Talk, our mission is to empower our members to embrace their voices, express themselves authentically, and find healing through open and honest conversation. We believe in the power of shared experiences and the strength that comes from supporting one another on our individual journeys.
We are fundraising for the general running cost of launching and running these groups. This includes the stacks of flyers, poster and other promotional materials; as well as the refreshments, room hire and potentially funding guest speakers where suitable.
I thank you for taking the time to read our story and hope that you can support us. Please only donate what you can afford.
