In the UK, there are more than 4,000 veterans documented as homeless. As councils have shifted priorities away from veterans, and the barriers to private renting are high without appropriate credentials, We R Blighty has taken the initiative to purchase vessels as liveable alternatives for these veterans. With some veterans already residing on Blighty's boats, our focus now is to fundraise and revamp three newly acquired vessels to meet living standards, paving the way for more veterans to find a sanctuary at sea.
