I have suffered with my mental health (PTSD, anxiety, postnatal depression, breakdown, isolation/loneliness, Psychosis) and was homeless for three months. I have learnt how to adapt and overcome so much and don't want others to feel the way I did. So this event I am pushing myself way out of my comfort zone to help raise some funds for Walk Talk Action (not for profit) which helps people back to a better state of mind through walking, talking and taking action towards achieving their goals or overcoming a fear/obstacle. Life is full of ups/downs but truly believe we are all born with a talent and sometimes we just need a little help in connecting us to the right people or getting onto the right path. The funding will help pay towards opportunities that will help them take the first step towards their goal(s) whether it be to pay for canoeing sessions to overcome a fear of water, or paying for a train ticket for someone to do some work experience! The possibilities are endless and there have been so many people that have got back to a better state of mind and now volunteer.

It is a community group full of lived experience and genuinely wants to help people find their purpose in life by starting from the bottom. We are on this earth for a short time so why not try figure out what it is you were born to do and be happier in the process.

1 in 4 of us suffer with depression, 50-70% of people suffer some sort of trauma in their life and less than 8% of us live up to our full potential.

Funding will help bring opportunities closer and help pay towards finding what is needed.

Ps. This is a huge passion of mine to help people who are struggling because when you are in a bad place it's the loneliness place in the world. This event I hope will help inspire people to step out of their comfort zone. Win or lose the journey just to step into the ring is going to be massive and so hard but I truly believe it will help people get out of a bad place. Event date: 13th July 2024
