Due to a “technical glitch” I was charged £1421 for 4 tickets instead of the £263 I was expecting to pay. Like 100s of others I wasn’t aware of this total cost until after I received confirmation of the order.

I was shocked & desperately sought to get my money back. I received a refund after MSE took an interest in my story. Sadly, many others have not been so lucky.

After MSE published an article people with similar issues began contacting me. I wanted to help each person feel supported and cared for. I also wanted to help them get their money back.

On 5 Feb I set up the fb group Victim Of Viagogo #VofV.

We now have 135 members in 11 countries with 245 people waiting to join.

I have responded to over 375 people & have heard first hand how upset, angry & frustrated they feel.

This issue is affecting ordinary men & women from students to ex gulf war veterans. We have reclaimed £41k in refunds for tickets bought between 16 Jan & 3 Feb.

Many others are still seeking theirs ( £50K amount owed) for tickets bought inside & outside these dates.

The huge unexpected costs, the feeling of being "ripped off" and the ongoing frequent difficulties in contacting Viagogo is causing serious financial hardship & emotional/health issues worldwide.

We expect the number of refunds we are seeking to keep on rising with the growing public awareness of unfair & misleading ticketing practices.
