Story
Verity and I have decided to take on the challenge of cycling from Lands End to John O Groats to raise money for The Jack Lonergan Foundation which is a charity close to both our hearts. Jack was a friend and colleague from our time at St George’s Catholic School. Jack was an incredibly passionate music teacher who believed everyone should have the same opportunities when it came to music education.
The challenge will consist of:
1 . Lands End to Telford = approx 550km (5 days of cycling in May half term)
2. Telford to John O Groats = approx 1000km ( 11 days of cycling in August)
And….
To had fire to the challenge Vicky is also doing the Ride London 100mile cycle the Sunday before we leave for the 1st part.
A saying that was created on a school trip with Jack and will be carrying both Verity and Vicky across the Devon hills and Scottish climbs will be “Don’t Fear The Mountain, Let the Mountain Fear You”
Verity and I would appreciate any donation you could spare to help support The Foundation, allowing more young people to access music education.
