    Story

    Who are Validus32

Validus32 is a distinguished British non-profit organization committed to aiding the rehabilitation of wounded, injured, and sick veterans, as well as serving personnel. Through immersive outdoor adventures, our expeditions offer WIS beneficiaries a chance to reengage with nature, foster camaraderie, and rediscover their purpose. By leveraging the transformative potential of adventure, we strive to empower our beneficiaries, enabling them to transition to civilian life with renewed confidence and resilience. Furthermore, our endeavours aim to cultivate a steadfast resolve in handling their diverse injuries in their day-to-day lives.

Our aim is to create a community not only for the beneficiaries, but also their families and dependents. Individuals will be integrated, and welcomed, into a community which will equip and support them with training plans, development and learning weekends, whilst providing them with wrap-around care in the lead up to the expedition and preparation for our future adventures. This will not stop once the initial expedition has finished, but continue post expedition and for the foreseeable future.

    "KHMER QUEST"

VALIDUS32 will embark on an expedition throughout Southeast Asia: Starting in Vietnam, the team will navigate day and night on specialised bicycles, battling the unrelenting risk of tough terrain, humidity and wildlife. They will cross into the Cambodian jungle passing the infamous rice fields, before continuing through the jungle of Thailand ending at the famous, Bridge over the River Kwai at the edge of Burma. Throughout this journey the team will overcome their own personal challenges, but also must contend with nights sleeping under the canopy of the trees. A team of 8 wounded, injured and sick (WIS) military veterans and serving personal will undertake the gruelling expedition; a real life "Indiana Jones" tale of adventure, endurance and fortitude!

What will your money go towards?

But we can't do it alone. Your support will make a tangible difference in the lives of our beneficiaries. Your donation will contribute to training events, specialized equipment and bicycles, flights, safety gear, and medical support, ensuring that our beneficiaries can safely undertake this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Your contribution proves that, despite their injuries, veterans and serving personnel can still conquer challenges and thrive. Join us on this incredible journey and help us make a positive impact on the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for their countries. Together, we can empower them to transition to civilian life with confidence and resilience.

Thank you so much for all the donations. Massive shout out to David Lloyd Swansea and all the kind people of Swansea who came and supported the team on their 12 hour "Spinathon". We managed to raise £1400 through Just Giving and cash donations. We're 5 weeks away from H hour. Lets push this the rest of the way.
