For those of you who supported my appeal last year - all my gratitude goes out to you, as well as of those whom you have supported.

Dozens of Ukrainian refugee families have benefitted from your kindness, and have since then moved on, either to permanent accommodations in Hungary, or to other countries.

Three families remain at my mum's school and will continue to stay for the foreseeable future. They are now settled in.

The funds we raised in 2022 have long since run out, and the school, which looks after underprivileged children, was already desperately underfunded before the war in Ukraine. They are unable to continue to fund the refugee families indefinitely.

Therefore I'd ask that you open your heart, and your wallets, once more, and provide some support to these families, and the people that look after them.

Her school has offered to take in and look after a cohort of Ukrainian refugees, providing housing in their two children’s homes; food from their kitchens; and schooling for children by making 3 classrooms available, and with the help of their Russian-speaking teachers.

Running this operation is costly, and the school relies on donations, as they receive no support from the government for their activities related to the refugee families.

The school has been hosting full families, and also providing daytime education and meals to children, since March 10th 2022.

Any support will be greatly appreciated, and importantly, 100% of the money goes towards supporting the refugee families fleeing war. This is a direct contribution, with no middle-men.
