Story

Ubulu-Uku Descendants’ Union, UK is a UK-based not-for-profit organisation of Ubulu-Uku sons and daughters in the diaspora that provides wide-ranging support to the indigent people of Ubulu-Uku, Delta State, Nigeria which has an estimated population of c12,000 people who are predominantly subsistent farmers. The community's General Hospital this relatively underprivileged population relies on is heavily under-equipped and does not have reliable electricity needed to deliver vital healthcare. These situations have led to increasing levels of avoidable deaths especially of the most vulnerable groups. Your kind donation will help procure essential medical equipment and install solar equipment for the generation of reliable electricity for the hospital which will ultimately help us save the lives of Ubulu-Uku people.
