Story

Check out our website

Toucan Diversity Training CIC was founded in 2013 by Madissa Asgari, BA (Hons), MA, a disabled woman with a diverse ethnic background who faced significant disability discrimination in the job market. Determined to create opportunities not only for herself but also for other disabled people, Madissa established Toucan Diversity Training CIC to face these challenges head-on.

Toucan Diversity is committed to delivering disability equality training and is proudly led by our team of disabled people. We are a CPD-accredited training provider based in Portsmouth, dedicated to promoting the social inclusion of disabled people, one training session at a time.

The Skydive is booked for Sunday 29th of September 2024. We are so super proud to introduce you to our Team of Skydivers:

Sharon Osterfield

The ethos and value of Toucan Diversity align closely with my own commitment to raising awareness and promoting equality for marginalized groups. I see Toucan Diversity's dedication to education and inclusion as essential for building a more equitable society for those with both visible and hidden disabilities. The passion and mission of Toucan Diversity are seen in so many ways that it was an easy decision to join them to raise money for their cause, a natural fit. I hope that you will partner with me so that we can raise some funds to help them continue their vital work. Thank you

Meet Victor Agamasu

I'm doing a skydive for a disability social enterprise because I believe in pushing boundaries and overcoming fears, much like the individuals this charity supports face daily challenges with courage and resilience. This skydive symbolizes my commitment to raising awareness and funds for those who navigate life with disabilities, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they need. By taking this leap, I hope to inspire others to contribute to this vital cause and highlight the importance of community and solidarity in creating a more inclusive world.

Meet Michael Agamasu

I'm keen to do this skydive because I believe in the importance of supporting a cause that empowers people with disabilities.

For a long time I have been a donator to charities but now feel it is time to participate.

By doing something relatively out of character, I hope to raise awareness and the funds needed to improve the quality of people's lives. So if you can support me, I would be so grateful.

Darron Barnes

I'm taking the plunge to skydive for Toucan Diversity because I believe in a world where everyone feels included and valued, and creating a slightly more balanced society. By sponsoring me, you're going to help improve the quality of real peoples lives.

Joel Smith

I welcome the opportunity to raise awareness for a disability social enterprise, helping others aiding those who require additional support.

I am not a fan of heights so this will be a challenge for myself but one I am happy to throw myself into, no pun intended. Having run a recruitment company most of my adult life I recognise the need for inclusion and giving everyone the opportunity to better themselves irrespective of situations and circumstances.

If there is an opportunity to help raise awareness and crucially to support people with disabilities then it is something I would happily put my name and that of my company JNS Global Consultants forward for. I fully support any organisation helping those who face additional challenges in life and indeed in the workplace.

I would be very grateful for any financial support given from friends, family, loved ones and indeed business connections and clients who share the same values. It is for a fantastic cause and thank you all kindly for the support!

PS I am terrified.

We are so grateful to our team of Skydivers and for all the donations so far. They smashed their target and are now aiming to get to £3000. Can we do it? Yes, we can with your support. Apologies everyone for the Bob the Builder reference. Only six more days to go!
