Story

Our beautiful baby boy Teddy Deakin, sadly gained his angel wings on the 30th September 2023. We got to spend just over 3 hours with our perfect little boy before he went to sleep forever. This is a painfully sad time in any parents life and the heartache and ‘what ifs’ will never fade away. We feel blessed to of been able to spend that time with Teddy and he has changed our lives more than he will ever know. Our baby boy was born at Worcestershire Royal Hospital where we unfortunately found ourselves having the support from the bereavement team. The bereavement midwives looking after us were amazing. The compassion and around the clock support they gave us as a family was exceptional. Thank you so much to the team. The area thats located at the rear of the bereavement suites, is the most wonderful garden space for parents and familes to sit, reflect, gather thoughts and to think of their babies. We both found this garden very comforting and a lovely space of peace. We would like to raise money to donate to the bereavement suite memorial garden, which is in much need of some tender loving care. With your help we can make this special place an area for all the families that are unfortunately going through the loss of their little ones. After Richard and his close friends have renovated the garden, he will then be dedicating some of his time on a regular basis to ensure this garden is kept a clean, peaceful and tranquil place to visit.
