    Story

Team Icicles (as seen on BBC Ice Stars) are based in Nottingham and have been national champions for the last 5 years. Our sport of synchronised ice skating is fast and exciting, brings young people together in a team sport and requires considerable commitment from our skaters who are aged from 13 to 18.

We have been selected to represent Great Britain in the junior world championships which are to be held in Canada this year.

Our sport is entirely funded by our skater's families and local fundraising efforts but we receive no funding from elsewhere. Please help us to fund our girls get to Canada - every little helps. Thank you.

We are incredibly humbled to have received so much support for our forthcoming competition. In addition to the donations received via the Crowdfunding site we have secured further contributions from local County Councillors Cllr Steve Calvert and Cllr David Martin. A huge thank you too to Hammonds Coaches who have offered the return airport trip from Nottingham. Please continue to share our page - every little helps as they say!
