Hello

My dream my whole life is to help people in any way that i can to bring love , support and hope to many lives. 10 years ago i went to south Africa to a children's day care centre who specialised in HIV/AIDS. I travelled to those living in the nearby townships and rubbish dumps, seeing this just melted my heart. I knew i could really make a difference in the environments around me .They had very little and yet were full of joy and that is when i realised i dont need alot i just want to make a difference. When i returned i started thinking what skill would be beneficial to others, and that is when i started my nursing career. For nearly 5 years i have been nursing within the emergency department , i have gained a range of clinical skills and a more indepth understanding of how to nurse in the correct way and assist to save lives. It has been an incredible journey and i just pray that i have made a difference and made a positive impact on many lives just like how they have made a huge difference to me. The journey they go on is the journey i am sharing , i never want anyone to feel alone. Nursing is part of me and i would like to take the step forward to nursing in an underprivileged area. I have been provided with the opportunity to nurse in Ghana , i feel emotional writing this as i am so excited and it makes me remember why i went to train as a nurse. Unfortunately the opportunity hasnt come sooner in my nursing career , but now is the time to take that step forward. I would love to nurse abroad , teach others skills that i have gained and provide person centred care to all and share the love allowing others to know they are not alone but that we are here to help !

please help me to raise money to nurse in ghana for 2 - 4 weeks i would be so greatful , they money raised will enable me to go for a longer period of time to really make a difference.
