From 3rd July-27th August 2017, we will be working alongside Christ Kingdom Church and TAFARA Christian Caring Trust writing and delivering an education program, teaching music lessons and building their new church building! However we cannot do this without your support financially.

Christ Kingdom Church (CKC) is a church plant set up in 2016 by Stuart Dore, a local pastor in Mutare’s most deprived area, Sakubva. Sakubva is a high density suburb of the city which contains nearly a quarter of the population of Mutare despite it being an area of less than four square miles.
CKC is currently meeting in a temporary shed on a new plot of land. However building work for a permenant church building/community centre has begun and foundations have been dug. With your help, walls can be added and Stuart's vision for the orphans of Sakubva can become a reality.

‘One Sunday morning during the church service a child fainted at Sunday School and we discovered that she was hungry and hadn’t eaten for two days. That is when I decided to brew a nutritious drink every sunday for the sunday school children. Soon our church was full of children desperate to eat, the church was overwhelmed but I knew I had to do something so I started TAFARA Christian Caring Trust and started feeding the vulnerable children and orphans in Sakubva.’ - Stuart Dore

Stuart now works with 100+ orphans per day, feeding them, providing a safe space for them and offering them a sense of hope.
