Story
*Our two Syrian refugee boys*
Almost 6 months ago, we managed to raise enough money for two refugee children to join our club for 6 months.
It's come to that time again where I'd like these two boys to continue on their journey with us and to carry on integrating into our community. They are now stable and enjoying their new skills with lots of smiles and new friends surrounding them.
We need to raise at least £300 for both boys to continue their training with us for the next 6 months, but we'd sooner raise £600 and this will cover their training and gradings for the next year.
Thank you for taking your time in reading our request.

We focus on the positive. These children have the skills and a range of abilities that can shine through the language barrier and cultural differences. Helping them to find their strengths and sharing these with the class can provide a basis for assimilating the children into the community. Refugee children have much to offer and the fact that they have managed to come so far is evidence of this. It is up to us to help them make this part of their journey to settlement as smooth as possible.
