On the 6th May this year, my sister Nikki and I will be taking part in Rat Race (http://ratrace.com/dirtyweekend/)

Rat Race takes place at Burghley House and comprises of a 13 mile run, easy you might think, but to add to the fun there are 150 obstacles thrown in! This is going to take us right out of our comfort zones. I actually think it is going to take us all day!!

Now, we thought that using this torturous challenge we would try and raise some much needed funds for Sunshine Pre School in Gamlingay. I am a committee member myself and therefore have seen first hand just how much effort is put into fundraising events by the hardworking committee (who are all volunteers) and staff. If by doing this crazy challenge We can help in the fundraising then it will be well worth it.

The preschool is a charity and relies entirely on fundraising to improve the children's early education experiences and buy much needed equipment to support and enhance their learning.
