Story
We are a group of mum's who have come together to help raise money to improve our village Play Parks. Stradbroke has two areas in the Village one has original 1970's equipment and the the 1980's equipment the last pieces to be put in were well over 10 years ago and not of the best quality . We need to raise around £65,000 to bring them up to date and to a standard the children in the village a surrounding areas deserve.
We are looking at grant funding as well as contributions from the parish Council and Local Charitable Organisations. We are also working to get the village engaged in fundraising as a community through lots of varying events.
This page has been set up to allow anyone wishing to contribute to our cause but not able to join in the activities we are doing. To sweeten the deal we will also be doing a few crazy things over the next few months so that your donations are a sponsorship too! So watch this space for news of what things we have come up with! To begin with running from today we have pennies for the play park, where we are asking the village to save all their loose small change to donate to the fund, if you are unable to do this but want to donate an amount, this is the page that you can do that at!
Thank you
