In January this year my 37 year old brother; Stephen was told he has Stage 4 Colorectal (bowel) Cancer which has spread to his liver. The disease was discovered after an onset of symptoms occurred during his training for a charity boxing match raising money for Cancer Research. Now he faces his biggest fight yet which is to beat this horrific disease for himself.

Stephen is a loving husband to Anita and a fantastic father to their 3 beautiful children; Olivia, Joseph and Joshua. He is a local business man who works at Rye Barbers, a job which he loves and which is a business he has built up himself from scratch. Unfortunately, currently, due to his illness he cannot be a part of.

Stephen is currently undergoing gruelling chemotherapy treatment where the goal is for the cancer to become operable. Whilst the care and attention he has received on the NHS has been amazing, we want to give him the best possible chance of a cure and we would desperately want him to have the treatment that specialist surgeons can provide operating on him. It is not yet clear whether this will be possible on the NHS and since time is of the essence, with the help of donations from you it will give Stephen the option to seek any specialist treatments that may be needed further down the line.
