The members and friends of Sherfield Oaks Golf Club over the last two years have raised £34,579 for St. Michaels Hospice. This is our third year of working with them and one of our members, Steve Phipps, is taking on a 99 Mile walking challenge, to raise as much money as we can to support this very worthy Charity. The Hospice requires £15,000 per day to support patients and their families and it is a virtual part of our local community.

On the 2nd July Steve will start his route at Hampton Court Golf Club and will end at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club on the 3rd July. During his route he will visit two Get Golfing Clubs, Pyrford and Winter Hill, plus the St.Michaels Hospice shop in Tadley and the Hospice in the grounds of Basingstoke Hospital . He will be supported by other members of the Get Golfing community, friends, colleagues & family. So please support Steve in this massive challenge and raise the much needed funds for this very worthy Charity.
