Story

Help us raise the funds needed to get our team of children to the British Transplant Games 2024 in Nottingham!!

Kidney failire is a devastating diagnosis affecting the while family. Treatnent options are limited and there is no cure.

Renal transplant is the best treatment option for most children but it is not a cure and living with a transplant means hospital visits, blood tests and uncertainty. We hope that a transplant will last around 20 years; some last longer but others fail sooner. When this happens further transplant or a time on dialysis is needed.

The transplant games is an opportunity for children to compete at a national sporting event on and even field. Children can train hard and push themselves to achieve their goals but also have a lot of fun away from the hospital in a knot in clinical environment.

The team at Southampton Children’s Hospital work hard to raise enough funds to take our patient, their siblings and parents away to this four-day event. We hope to cover all costs, making the event accessible to as many of our children and as possible!!

We cant do this without help.
