Iʼve raised £10 to raise money to buy an Accu Vein device for Eden day unit at Wexham Park hospital.

    Story

I recently underwent an operation and had to have follow up treatment of chemotherapy.
Every week I had to have a cannula put in, most weeks we had problems with finding a vein and hoping it was good enough to use.
On talking to the nurses and patients, this is something that is quite common, as the more treatment, the harder it can become to find a vein and more stressful for the patients.
So to say THANKYOU to the staff at the Eden Day Unit, I would like to raise enough money to buy one of these devices to help with future patients.

I recently underwent an operation and had to have treatment of chemotherapy. Due to chemo effecting the veins it can be hard to find them sometimes trying more than once. This device will help nurses to locate and use them first time.
