In loving memory of our beloved late father, Haji Siraj Suleman Patel, we are raising money as a form of Sadaqah Jariya to donate towards a mosque and/or water wells.

Our father departed from this world and returned to our creator on 3rd March 2024, whilst on a family holiday in Qatar. He was a beloved brother, husband, father, and friend. May Allah grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous and grant him the status of a shaheed (martyr).

Our father was a man with a kind, caring soul who lived a simple life, he was always willing to help people and would show love to everyone he came across. His selflessness and acts of kindness were gifts from Allah and made us proud to be called his children.

He will always be remembered for the beautiful smile on his face and his ability to make anyone’s day that much brighter - We all know that hadith in which Prophet Muhammad ﷺ says, "to smile in the face of your brother or sister is an act of charity”, so may Allah be pleased with our father.

As a family, we have decided to raise money to donate towards building a mosque and/or water wells dependent on how much raised. As our father was someone who would make a conscious effort to attend the masjid to pray, we know he would be pleased with this. We pray he can continue to reap the rewards of this even though he is no longer with us.

The Prophet ﷺ said “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariya), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

JazakAllah to anyone who donates, may Allah accept this as a Sadaqah Jariya and reward us all. If you cannot, I kindly request you share this and keep me and my family in your duas.
