Iʼve raised £2,820 to raise funds for Andy's Man Club by running The Yorkshire Marathon in a relay - Run Fleece Run - In memory of Steve

Funded on Saturday, 4th November 2023

    Story

The Fleece in Farsley is a local pub, where regulars become friends, and tragically we lost one of our close friends recently. In memory of our friend, Steve, a team of regulars and staff are going to complete the Yorkshire Marathon as part of a relay team on the 15th October 2023.

Nothing amazing, you might think, but 4 of the 6 runners are complete novices!

Andy H, Lucy, Mel, Andy D have not run, collectively, for over 40 years, but with the guidance of Steve C and Kerrie, they aim to complete the marathon for their friend, Steve A.

Training has just started and regular updates will be posted on our Facebook and Instagram pages, so please give us a follow and some much needed encouragement!

We are raising funds for Andy's Man Club, which has opened a local hub in Pudsey recently. Mental Health Awareness is vitally important and we are proud to be helping this great charity. Every penny that you can donate will help and remind men that #Itsokaytotalk

    Thank you!!
