I've raised £2000 to help fund the new accessible mini bus at Regency High School & support the students access opportunities outside of school.

Our President Lynne is walking Hadrian's wall this May & back in Worcester, we, the members of Worcester Vigornia Rotary Club are walking the same distance as Lynne every day.
We're doing this to support the minibus appeal at Regency High School and help the students have the chance to access opportunities beyond their school.
The money raised will go towards a desperately needed new fully adapted minibus, to enhance the lives of the pupils who attend an amazing school, a jewel in Worcester’s educational crown.
Regency High School is a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities secondary school for pupils aged 11-19. It has over 240 pupils and more than 120 staff with 25 classes of 8-12 pupils. It caters for pupils with a wide range of special needs, from moderate to profound. Older pupils access college, work experience and accredited courses. Regency High School is growing, and we therefore require a new minibus to enable our students to continue to access the provisions we currently have in place. The needs of the pupils are also changing and becoming more complex, meaning we need the minibus to be specialised, and this is more costly.
Pupils go on regular educational visits to enhance and enrich their learning. This is an essential part of their personalised curriculum. With a new minibus, pupils will be able to spend more time outdoors, and this will improve their mental health and wellbeing. The school will be able to take whole year groups on trips and this will improve equal opportunities across the school. The breadth of visits will increase, with more pupils being able to access regular off-site provision.
Pupils travel to Regency High from Bromsgrove, Worcester, Evesham, Redditch, Droitwich, Malvern, Pershore, Walsall, Kidderminster and Bridgenorth.
The school needs another £20,000 to reach their target and we're hoping that this challenge will assist the school in reaching the target.
