March, members of the Rockwell team will embark on a combined 2,700 storey climb of their 30-storey development in Westferry to fundraise for Wandsworth-based charity Keeping Families Together (KFT). The team will take turns to climb the staircase at Vetro accumulating a height equivalent to that of the 29,000 ft. Mount Everest.

KFT helps families who are struggling with day-to-day issues by providing support for parents and children through workshops on issues of loneliness and protecting families from gang culture. When it comes to child protection and child in need meetings, they’re the ones who stand by the side of the families and liaise with social services, schools, parents, and other professionals to empower families and minimise the risk of young people becoming isolated in society. What’s special about Keeping Families Together is their early intervention approach – the sooner they get involved, the better chance they have to support families.

Rockwell is proud to continue its support of KFT, after the team walked 30km across London throughout the night in November to raise over £3,000 for the charity. Starting at Vetro, near Canary Wharf, the 6-hour walk took them through East London, south of the river onto Battersea and then to Hurlingham Waterfront, before heading to Rockwell’s office on St. James’s Square.

Rockwell now look forward to the next challenge as they ascend their very own Everest to further support the life changing work provided by Keeping Families Together; any donations would be gratefully received.
