My 39 year old husband Richard Moss went to the GP two weeks before Xmas 2016 with persistent headaches and was advised to have his eyes tested. Another visit to the GP after Xmas prompted a referral being made for a CT scan. 2 days later we're in A&E due to Richard having severe headaches and vomiting. after many hours and a miss diagnosis of suspected meningitis Richard was sent for a CT scan and then admitted to a ward. MRI the following day and then the results. Richard was diagnosed with 3 malignant brain tumours called glioblastomas which are life limiting and 2 of them inoperable. surgery/ biopsy took place 48 hours later.
Richard has started his Chemotherapy treatment which is leaving him tired and weak and he spends a lot of time sleeping.
Richard has never been a person to be still and following the floods of 2013 he has spent the last three years rebuilding our house and teaching myself and our 4 children hands on skills which will stay with us forever. The house is still not finished and we have no upstairs bathroom.
I am asking for help to build a room leading off from our utility room which is next to the ground floor bathroom which would be more suitable and accessible for Richard especially when he feels unwell. Richard at present seems so isolated when he's in his room away from the family and as a huge family man this seems almost as cruel as the cancer. This room would help to allow normal family life to continue and help Richard remain as independent as possible for as long as possible without feeling isolated and alone.
Any help is gratefully appreciated whether that's financial or labour.

Any money donated would be used solely on the room build and fitting it out and if any monies were left over I would donate this to cancer research to find a cure to beat this nasty disease.
