As many will know, a gorgeous little Greyhound named Silks sadly died in a tragic accident on the 1st of June. Silks was owned by Gail Hickmott who owns and runs Greyhound Rescue Jersey. With this Fundraiser the Jersey Dog Forum would like to help Gail pay for the vet bills not only for silks but all the others she has rescued and got back to full health. Help us to help Gail and please give what you can, every penny counts when you run a rescue and there really is no one more deserving. Gail is an amazing woman, with a huge heart who has helped rehome over 200 Greyhounds including three from the Chinese meat market!

Silks was no ordinary Greyhound, she was an expert donut hoover able to sniff them out a mile away, thieving the jammiest of jam donuts "who leaves donuts in the middle of the beach anyway?!". Silks was a sleek, beautiful girl who was loved very much and will be missed by all that knew her.
