I am a mother who from the start has never gave up. My daughter is Ava Stark who back in March was diagnosed with Inherited bone marrow failure.

I honestly didnt know and still dont know what to do. As a family we take it each day at a time.

For anyone that hasnt followed Ava's Story she was just like any normal 3 year old. At nursery catching bugs every few weeks apart from this one Wednesday morning. It shaped our lifes forever. Ava was rushed to hospital she was bleeding from her nose and bringing up blood. After a few hours of doctors whizzing about big long names we were transferred to Sick Kids Hospital Edinburgh Ward2. This is where we would find inner strength we never knew we had and where we would fight together to save my Princess.

We made a world wide appeal begging for people to come forward to register to donate stem cells/bone marrow as there was no matches for Ava. During the next 9 month we cried, fought and dug in our heels and finally it paid of.. we have a donor and Ava has had her transplant.

Whilst Ava was getting Chemotherapy she lost her hair. At first it was heart breaking and I honestly didnt know what to say to her but instead of being alone her Gran and Uncle have both decided to shave their hair in a bid to raise money for the wards that looked after Ava ❤❤

What we are hoping for is just a little cash to give something back to the wards and also the kids that are still in them. Just to say thank you for being there.. thank you for looking after Ava and the other kids and most of all thank you for being her friends ... You's are amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
