Potterne Solar Action Group is a group of local residents volunteering their time to fight the 2 large-scale solar farms planned for the land surrounding Potterne village.

This includes the 200+ acres site at Potterne Park Farm, and the 69 acre site at One Tree Hill. This fund will meet the growing expenses needed to fight off these absurd plans.

Funds will be managed by the Potterne Solar Action Group, with 2 members acting as custodians of the finances. So far we have funded a Landscape Evaluation Critique for Potterne Park Farm, and a Landscape Visual Impact Analysis for One Tree Hill, in addition to flyers and placards. We have spent around £5000 to date which has been underwritten by local individuals.

In the event there is a surplus of funds, any excess will be donated to CPRE Wiltshire (Campaign for Protection of Rural England). For more information go to cprewiltshire.org.uk.
