Thomas Kubinski lost his battle with a rare genetic illness called Di George syndrome on the 11th January 2017, after nearly 20 years of struggling.

He had always been very ill and he fought his way through life with the excellent care of his parents and his great enthusiasm and determination for life.

His life was never a normal one, but he took great pleasure in the small things that gave him happiness, like music; drink and most importantly food!

Thomas was a very special young man who many of us here at Progress care had the opportunity to work with, so in his memory we will be completing a hike up to the top of Snowdon.

Our sponsorship donations will go to Pens Meadow School in Wordsley, where Thomas attended for many years.

Pens Meadow provide a quality education and supportive environment for pupils with complex needs, severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties and rely heavily on charitable donations.
