Story
Since 2020 The Patchwork Meadow has given away wildflower seeds to community groups and individuals across Birmingham to plant over 6309m2 of meadows to help bring back the pollinators and enhance the urban landscape.
We want to keep helping community groups to brighten up their localities and create feeding 'pit stops' for our precious pollinators all across the city. Every £1.50 donated buys a packet of seeds and adds 1 m2 of meadow to the patchwork.
It is important to us that we work with communities in the most nature-depleted areas of the city. Wildflowers are wonderful for increasing a sense of wellbeing and boosting civic pride and a great way to connect people to green spaces.
Please help us continue to feed bees and feed souls in neighbourhoods where wildflower meadows will be most appreciated.

Hi I am Suze, the secretary of The Patchwork Meadow, a small voluntary organisation with charitable aims that was set up in lockdown by Alison Thompson, our Chair during lockdown. Our aim is to brighten up our city’s neighbourhoods and help to bring back the pollinators.
