For many years several attempts have been made to open the Lancaster canal northern reaches.But nothing positive has ever happened.I would like to restore a section at Larkrigg Hall near Kendal.Which will be the catalyst to seeing this Long overdue restoration come to fruition.The Location is an ideal place to start ,as it is at the gateway to the Lake district.Not only will it benefit the local economy and bring much needed economic regeneration,but will resurrect this sadly neglected part of our industrial Heritage.
