Weʼre raising £2,000 to help sustain Offload Cumbria for the next two years and keep supporting males over 18 suffering from mental health issues.

Don't have time to donate right now?

Story

Mental health services including those on the NHS are overstretched and waiting lists to access talking therapies in Cumbria are only getting longer.

Based upon personal experience of going through both public and private options available in the county, Offload Cumbria is a personal venture set up to offer a simple but proven and effective alternative approach to tackling mental health issues in the male community.

Offload use a combination of easily accessible peer support and mentoring allowing service users to share their experiences in a positive, productive environment.

Any money donated will be used to ensure the sustainability of Offload. Specifically, donations will go towards covering the expenses of running the group ranging from room hire costs to training and counselling sessions for volunteers who coordinate the group.

Thank you for taking the time to read about this cause :)
